About the Harmas Jean-Henri Fabre

The Harmas Jean-Henri Fabre is part of the Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle, a public institution under the joint authority of the Ministries in charge of Higher Education, Research and Innovation and of the Ecological and Inclusive Transition.

Statutes and operation

Since 2006 the Harmas Jean-Henri Fabre, acquired in 1922 by the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle, has been one of the 12 Museum sites open to the public.

Visit regulations for the Harmas

  • Photographs may be taken in the house and garden for your personal use.
  • Picnics are allowed on the terrace.
  • Smoking is prohibited in the garden due to risk of fire.
